As of 2019, Austria was the fifth most peaceful country in the world but with the country’s low rate of crime and terrorism, it was moved to 4th place in the Global Peace Index(GPI) rank.

5) Denmark

Denmark is the 5th most peaceful and safest country to live in, the country also enjoys stable government, the crime and murder rates are extremely low, there are virtually no violent demonstrations, and very few people are incarcerated in prison.

6) Canada

Canada is among the top 10 most peaceful country, with its low crime activities.

On May 1, 2020, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that the Government of Canada would immediately ban around 1,500 models of “military-grade assault weapons” to curb an increasing rate of crime and violence.
